Digital Art

College Work

A large potion of what I have done digitally was exclusive to my time in college, as I had access to new programs there.

Corel Painter is a computer program that is focused on digital illustration. One of the tools, which I may have overused, emulated thick paint. I did this set of illustrations as part of an assignment to design a team of heroes (they are in fact, characters).

Unreal Engine

I ended up learning Zbrush (an artist-friendly 3d modeling service), and some blender (for animating) and I created many assets to use in Unreal Engine to build two locations that fit some of my worldbuilding for my most recent project.

Epic Games has a game making program called Unreal Engine. It turns out it's fairly good at cinematics so for a 3D computer class run by a film-focused professor, we used it a lot. I did manage to make one video I enjoyed, and got a few "photos" of the landscaping I did as well.

Stop Motion- Dragonframe

I ended up taking a Stop Motion class right at the same time my capstone was being finished up. The program the college used is called Dragonframe, and I edited in After effects.

These are two of the stop motion exercises we did during that semester. My final stop motion is The Foriel that Fell from the Stars and has its own dedicated page.

I'm going to be honest, I tried doing parallax with the background moving the right way, but I forgot that it's supposed to move slower, not faster, so oh well, maybe the camera is just spinning around.

Your computer is not broken, there is no sound, I didn't know how to add it yet.

Independent Work

You'll note this is almost 100% worldbuilding and story related. The digital art featured here is all done in Autodesk Sketchbook.

Keyholders of Bongo

These three are all from the same setting, the animals are called foriels, or a fox-squirrel. The humanoids are elflites (or elves, but "lite" edition, so basically humans).

This character is from a different setting, she is responsible for the creation of my whole worldbuilding universe.

Minecraft

Minecraft may be a game, however I often use it as a way to create art. I also design texture packs for myself for it. Here is a sampling of creative stuff in a sandbox game (often using custom textures).

This is my largest project yet, a huge mega build in survival. It is not done either.

Some examples of custom texture work in custom builds.

I have multiple texture packs, for instance, both these bottom pictures are of cherry trees, just one texture pack turns them into maple.
